Santa Maria was the flagship that carried Christopher Columbus across the Atlantic in 1492 – a voyage to a New World and a New Beginning. Traveling the seas to places unknown, She protected and honored the 40 sailors She carried, delivering them safely after what proved to be the harshest of tests.

With Her travels behind Her, and amidst a winter storm, the Santa Maria ran aground on December 25, 1492 (off of present-day Môle Saint-Nicolas, Haiti) and was lost. Later, timbers from Her hull were brought to the water’s surface to build Môle Saint-Nicolas, originally called "La Navidad" (Christmas), memorializing the date the grand ship was lost. Several structures stand to this day.

With Her legacy in mind, our company bears Her name, embodying the greatest qualities found in mankind; we believe in God and respect for all living things, we understand that sacrifice is the only doorway to change, we are resolute to finish what we have begun - bound by an unwavering discipline to never loose sight of our values, regardless of the opinions others may have about our journey.

We exemplify Her spirit; we represent the New World,

WE ARE THE NEW BEGINNING
